Lucid Group, Inc., the maker of cutting-edge electric vehicles, announced it will begin taking orders for its latest model, the Lucid Gravity, on November 7, 2024. The initial offering will feature the Grand Touring trim, priced from $94,900, delivering over 800 horsepower and an impressive projected range of over 440 miles. Production for the Grand Touring is set for late 2024, with the more affordable Lucid Gravity Touring, priced from $79,900, expected in late 2025.
Peter Rawlinson, Lucid’s CEO, expressed excitement for the new model’s launch, emphasizing its unparalleled versatility, performance, and design, made possible by Lucid’s innovative technology. From November 7, U.S. customers can place orders through Lucid’s website, with current owners receiving priority.
Lucid Gravity Overview
Designed to set a new standard for SUVs, the Lucid Gravity can accommodate up to seven adults and offers substantial cargo space of up to 120 cubic feet, including an optional frunk seat. It utilizes Lucid’s advanced electric powertrain technology, providing a smooth and agile driving experience with a range exceeding 440 miles. The model also features an optional three-chamber air suspension to adapt to various terrains.
Lucid’s Gravity marks a significant leap forward in automotive user interfaces with the Clearview Cockpit. This 34-inch curved OLED display hovers above the steering wheel, aligning perfectly with the driver’s line of sight.
The Gravity also offers the Pilot Panel, featuring a quick access touch bar and a sleek glass center console that smoothly slides open for more storage. Additionally, this SUV debuts Lucid’s next-gen software, offering over-the-air updates for continuous enhancements.
It is the first Lucid Model to offer the Tesla-style NACS charging interface.
Further pricing and delivery details for international markets will be disclosed in the future.
Current Lucid customers will be given priority for first deliveries.
